The Cheater

This story should be interesting.

My psychology class is at 8:00am so I'm not the most wide awake person there. My teacher, who used to be an elementary school teacher, treats us like we are five. So basically all we do is go through the chapter on the powerpoint and then talk about the projects we have to turn in or the papers or tests, etc. Today we had a project due, all of us students are thinking we'll turn them in and talk a little then get out early. Which would be very nice.
Not today my friends.
This morning, she walk's in and tells us to sit down and be quiet. Now let me remind you it is 8am, none of us want to be there. However, she begins telling us a story of how when she was nine she cheated on a test at school and then how she felt so guilty. She confessed to her teacher and blah blah, it all ended up good.
Well, she then looks at us and says I have your tests back, graded and all.
Note-this test was take home AND open book.
She says that before shes gives us the tests she knows that several people cheated and she is very disappointed. She tells us about the schools policy's on cheating and then tells us to open to Chapter 9.
"This chapter is on 'Motivation' and what motivates us to cheat" she tells us.
By now the entire class is sweating. Wondering who cheated and what will happen, trying to remember the test that we took about 3 weeks ago.
Finally after the chapter was over and her cheating lectures.
She gives us our test.
I do have to admit I was nervous. I didn't cheat but it was open book so obviously the answers are going to be like the one's in the book.
I did well on my test and also on my paper. She didn't say anything to me so it wasn't me. Of course. However, she is really upset about it and the students that cheated could possibly be kicked out of school.
Not sure why I'm telling this story. It's funny now, but it wasn't funny at 8 this morning.

Home Improvement

Yeah, that's what I'm watching. I just finished my coffee and my psychology project. I actually enjoyed doing it too. I had to get 20 pictures and then use those to describe myself and then write a short essay about how the project affected me or something. It was actually fun. Anyways, I'm about to go get ready for bed so I can get to sleep early tonight. I hope everyone is doing well. And enjoying the cold weather!

Cupcakes

Today was pretty good, class, chapel, wal-mart with Annah and then just hanging out around campus and in my room. I cleaned our entire bathroom and my room. I also make cupcakes and a small cake with the extra batter I had. The cupcakes are amazing.

MC's homecoming is this weekend so I'll be at the game.

Nothing new to report. I'm still not feeling good. My side hurts really bad and I have some sinus stuff. But I'm going to the doctor Monday so hopefully we will clear up this cyst and figure out what to do about it.

I had a pretty good day other than hurting alot. I hope everyone else had a good day.

The Hospital Story

Well I have an interesting story, so here goes.

Thursday after classes I went and had lunch with Kristy and Jonathan. As I was driving back to Clinton my right and left sides started to hurt and I was a little dizzy. I got to my dorm safely and decided I should take a nap. This is nothing new because I take naps all the time since I've been in college. Well, the time was about 2:30pm when I woke up it was around 6:30pm and the pain had gotten worse. I thought about what I should do and called my mom. Then about 7 I decided I should probably go to the ER, in case there was some alien growing inside me and in that case, I wanted it removed as soon as possible. I spent three hours in the ER that night, had needles shot up in my arms only to find out that "I'm okay". The doctor gave me some pain medicine and told me to come back if it got worse. The pain continued to be the same Friday, today however, I decided to spend the night at home. So I had lunch with my family at Jason's and then went to a few stores with Kristy and Jonathan. The pain has gotten much worse by now and I called Kristy to come take me to the ER, yet again. So she did and this time they put me in a room and did all these crazy tests, to find out that I have a cyst on my right side and that is what was causing the pain.

Now I have more pain medicine and I was told to come back if it got worse. I'm praying it doesn't get worse. I've spent about 7 hours in a hospital in the past 2 days...I do not want to go back.

Welcome Back

Fall break is over and classes are back in. I have a Biology test next Monday, yes mom, i'm studying, a world masterpieces test friday and a Psychology test due tomorrow. Also a photography project due in about 2 weeks. I should get on that one. Follies practice is tonight, and almost everyother night for the next 9 days from 9-11 or 12. Come watch me dance, Follies is October 24 and like 7? Maybe...

Not so sure what all I should write in this thing. I guess thats enough for today. Maybe something exciting will happen and I can write about it later.
